Eames Hotrod Boombox Sculpture.....

All I can say is WOW! What a corner conversation piece huh?!!

As an L.A. native, a son of a musician, M11X celebrates his 15th year as a working artist in New York. His latest works blend his musical history and his creative nature. As a designer and artist, he calls on us to forget our individualized nature and relationship with our headphones and demands that we start to share our music as it was meant to be; unplugged from our ears and free. Mi11X’s manifesto blends the iconic image of the boom-box and alters the platform to which music is brought to the masses. M11Xl’s personal relationship to the early 80s  and boom-boxes creates a strong foundation from  which he explores through a collaboration with traditional art mediums. Toying with the power of music and endless design possibilities he brings beats, rhythm, and life into painting, furniture, and mixed media sculpture.
