I love this new feature that I found on Etsy which gives you a birds eye view into peoples homes as collectors. Blogger SF Girl By Bay has many really interesting diptychs which she photographed herself. She also has some paintings she has collected over time that I feel she has named each one with a clever sense of humor...

Citroen 2CV
Saw one of these last night when I was out and about and thought it was pretty cool, so I googled it and had no idea that there was a special edition created by Hermes. There are a lot of big birthdays in the car industry this year, and the Citroen 2CV joins GM and Land Rover in the candle-blowing crowd. To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the deux-say-vay, Hermes created a special version of a 1989 Citroen 2CV6 Special for the Paris Auto Show. If you saw the Bugatti Veryon by Hermes you know what to expect, with hand-stitched swathes of Hermes trademark gray-beige leather contrasted with white on the front and rear benches. Of course the Hermes treatment is worth as much as the car itself, but anything the 2CV lacks in luxury is more than made up for by character. Check out the press release after the jump and the gallery of high-res photos below.

Radius Fest San Diego - March 4th 2011
Apparently this is happening right here in my hometown sunny San Diego, at what looks like the Sports Arena but now on the website it says the Aerospace Museum in Balboa Park. To get tickets for March 4 2011 go to Radius Fest. Brings back some fond memories of my old rave days. Looks a bit commercial if you ask me with all the pyrotechnics alongside the DJ's, but that doesn't stop me from wanting to be a fly on the wall at the event. Probably won't... go much too sophisticated for such things now....but you can enjoy the faux location video....

Duck Sauce - Barbara Streisand
This is so dumb, and crazy, that people are millionaires because all they have to say is "Barbara Striesand" every few beats in a song, maybe they will make another song called "Oprah Winfrey" or " Stevie Nicks" I think I would like that one....it is fun though!

Party Decorations For The Rich
This fun decoration is called confetti system. I thought it was super cute when I saw it on Hello Sandwich Blog. It would be great to string across some branches in the yard for a nice evening dinner party or in the house for a cocktail party. But then I saw the price $165, WOW! But apparently they are handmade... and people like Urban Outfitters and Bergdorf Goodman, have hung them at store openings... but wait, also mentioned "Karen O from the Yeah Yeah Yeahs" decorated with them at her party, so I guess that alone made them jack up the price and the rest of us are supposed to buy them based on that exciting tid bit of information.......I don't know about you but in this economy, party streamers for $165 maybe a bit excessive.
