Just got this lip gloss set the other day and I would definitely give it an 8 out of 10 star rating. The gloss itself is cooling on the lips with a scent somewhat like french toast and syrup in the morning ( I prefer vanilla frosting or cake batter myself) that would be the only reason I gave it a lower rating. It's not too sticky and it plumps and lasts a long time. All the colors are really sheer so you can wear them alone or apply over any lipstick or stain. This set is about $30 and totally worth it because you can pop them into a bunch of purses so you don't have to worry about forgetting your lip gloss. 60's Hair Inspiration
Now more than ever the 60's have been an inspiration for hair. Either short or long some of these throwbacks are incorporated into haircuts and colors that I do everyday. It is an interesting time for hair now that all different eras have become popular again and all coincidentally at the same time. The 50's have come back around because of the TV show Mad Men, the 70's with all the hippie regalia and vintage clothing craze, along with all the hair braids and sun kissed colors of Ombre' and blondes. And don't forget the 80's ( I have already tried to put all of that ugliness behind me) but with all the neon colors in clothing coming back in fashion hair is never far behind, you better know I won't be bustin' out my perm rollers for no one!

Hair Sprays That I LOVE!
So as a stylist I am constantly trying new products and usually with hairspray I am not impressed with anything new that comes out and try and stick to my favorites, that is of course until they discontinue them or change the formula. Alot of the importance is focused on the hold, how wet or dry the spray is, and of course the smell, and if I can actually stand it or not. I have gone out and sprayed tons of hairspray in my hair, and then gagged later at the smell of myself. So the first hairspray is Brit Style Energy Lock by Graham Webb. It has a firm hold but is brushable along with layerable, if you wanted to spray more after a day at work for a night out to dinner. The mist is actually pretty dry itself. The scent is to me a bit like a toned down Aqua Net but dissapates quickly. Typically use this when doing updos, for volumounous height, and find it a great everyday hairspray too for all hair textures. I give it an 8 out of 10, mostly because I think it could smell better. But this is one of the two that I have been buying for the past 7 years. If you want to you can get it by clicking HERE.
The second hairspray is Hairstay Dry Extreme Hairspray by KMS. If you have hair that is on the finer side this is for you. It's a very fine mist hairspray that is great for all textures, especially finer haired people who don't like a really wet mist that will weight the hair down and end up looking like you have too much product in your hair. It is a layerable light spray with great holding power. The smell is clean and very nice. I recommend it for every day use, as well as for setting curls and creating a foundation for backcoming. This is a newer product line for KMS and I have now added it in my basket every time I go to the beauty supply because the are usually sold out. I give it a 10 out of 10 because I love the smell and usually get asked what perfume I have on when I am not even wearing any. If you want you can get it by clicking HERE.

Mavala Switzerland - Double Lash Review
For those of you who like to research your beauty products before you buy them like I do, this is a good one. It got a 4 out of 5 star rating from customers on Amazon and the price was great between $9-$16 .The product itself contains proteins and nutrients to help condition the lashes, make them darker and longer, and is not a drug like Latisse. Therefore you will not suffer from unwanted side effects like permanent change of eye color (like with Latisse) or permanent pigmentation around the eye area. I purchased this product on Amazon and have now been using it for a total of 1 month, I can definitely see a HUGE difference, my lashes are longer and darker. I had previously used Latisse but the $100 price tag was WAY too expensive for me so I opted to try this based on the good reviews and it's worth it! Get Mavala Double Lash CLICK HERE!

Disturbia
I am always looking for interesting tutorials on youtube, but this is disturbing. First of all this girl is beautiful and doesn't need anything changed whatsoever. She is gluing her eyelids because she wants a crease. That is not the disturbing part. They sell a glue that comes with a little fork so you can properly locate where you want the crease before you apply the eyelid glue.....crazy! Oh yeah, she also shows the tape method because they apparently sell eyelid tape too.....fast forward to 1:37.

BB Cream - What Is This Stuff?
Recently I have been reading everywhere about this BB cream stuff and was wondering what the heck it was. Apparently it was developed for patients to use after laser treatments or peels instead of foundation. It has soothing ingredients, along with specific moisturizing agents to help the skin heal naturally, along with skin care elements that will help with future pigmentation, and it can be used instead of foundation because it can cover flaws. Intriguing for sure I searched YouTube to see if I could find any reviews, of course there were hundreds and I got confused until I found one with guys dressed as doctors so I thought it looked more legit. And after watching this I am going to try it out. You can get yours too HERE BB Cream Triple Function and read one of the reviews I found helpful below I think I will try both the Pink and the Super, since I have some weddings that I will be doing makeup for coming up.....
5.0 out of 5 stars My new staple for the morning routine, December 16, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: SKIN79 Super+ Beblesh Balm BB Cream VIP Gold Collection (Gold Label) (Health and Beauty)
I have read a lot about bb creams and was intrigued. I went with the Skin 79 brand based on very positive reviews. I bought this one over the pink one, because on youtube, the pink one was popular with the 20 somethings. I am 41 years old and thought this may be a better try.First of all, this is best and most surprising beauty purchase I have ever made. It went beyond my expectation. This bb cream keeps my skin moisturized and matte at the same time. I love the fact that it has spf 25 for some good protection. Since you need such a small amount of the bb cream to cover your face (one pump), I would use sunscreen underneath this in the summer just in case. It's actually an ideal tinted moisturizer because it is so light and it offers a better (medium) coverage. I am able to cover my minor spider veins, but it feels like I am wearing nothing. I love that non makeup feel.
I have received compliments from friends who ask what I am using. I have always had great skin (very lucky), but this made it even better! One easy step and it replaced my moisturizer, makeup, concealer and primer.
One drawback is that it only comes in one tone. It suits me, goes on paler initially and blends in after a few minutes as I continue with brows and mascara. I am Chinese and have light medium skin and it works. My friend who is filipino and spanish can also use this. It freaked her out initially because it looked so light. But it adjusted to her chemistry and looks completely natural.
